मुंबई :  आगामी काळात सरकार केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना आणखी एक मोठी भेट देण्याच्या तयारीत आहे. त्यामुळे कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या  पगारात मोठी वाढ होणार आहे.  सरकार काही दिवसातच कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या महागाई भत्त्यात (DA) आणखी चार टक्क्यांनी वाढ करणार असल्याचे बोलले जात आहे. ही वाढ केल्यानंतर कर्मचाऱ्यांचा महागाई भत्ता 46 टक्क्यांपर्यंत होणार आहे. केंद्र सरकारच्या या निर्णयाचा फायदा  केंद्रीय कर्मचारी आणि पेन्शनधारकांना होणार आहे.

सरकारने जानेवारी ते जून 2023 च्या पहिल्या सहामाहीत महागाई भत्त्यामध्ये (DA) चार टक्क्यांनी वाढ केली होती. यानंतर डीए  38 टक्क्यांवरून 42 टक्के झाला आहे.  सरकार दर सहा महिन्यांनी कर्मचाऱ्यांचा महागाई भत्त्यामध्ये  वाढ करते. त्यामुळे यंदा  चार टक्क्यांनी वाढ झाल्यास डीए 46 टक्क्यांवर पोहोचेल, असा अंदाज आहे.  कर्मचारी आणि पेन्शनधारकांसाठी महागाई भत्ता दर महिन्याला कामगार ब्युरोने जारी केलेल्या औद्योगिक कामगारांसाठी (CPI-IW) ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांकाच्या आधारे मोजला जातो. लेबर ब्युरो कामगार मंत्रालयाचा हा एक भाग आहे. कंन्ज्युमर प्राईस इंडेक्स  (CPI-IW) च्या आधारावर याचे कॅलक्युलेशन होते.

पगारात किती होणार वाढ

जर केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांचा डीए 46 झाला तर त्यांच्या पगारात मोठी वाढ होणार आहे. समजा केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांचा बेसिक पे 18,000 रुपये आहे. 42 टक्क्याच्या हिशोबाने डीए 7560 रुपये होत आहे. जर 46 टक्के वाढ झाली तर पगारात 8280 रुपयांची वाढ होणार आहे. म्हणजे पगारात  दरमहा 720 रुपयांनी वाढ होणार आहे. सरकारने 2022 च्या दुसऱ्या सहामाहीत डीएमध्ये चार टक्क्यांनी वाढ केली होती. त्यामुळे यंदाही एवढी वाढ अपेक्षित आहे. मात्र, याबाबत सरकारकडून अद्याप कोणतेही अधिकृत निवेदन जारी करण्यात आलेले नाही.

17 टक्क्यांवरून 42 टक्क्यांपर्यंत वाढवला डीए

जुलै 2021 मध्ये केंद्र सरकारने केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांचा महागाई भत्ता 17 टक्क्यांवरून 28 टक्क्यांपर्यंत वाढवला होता. यानंतर, ऑक्टोबर 2021 मध्ये आणखी 3 टक्के वाढ देऊन ते 31 टक्के करण्यात आले. सरकारने मार्च 2022 मध्ये कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या डीएमध्ये तीन टक्क्यांनी वाढ केली होती. त्यानंतर महागाई भत्ता 34 टक्क्यांवर गेला. त्यानंतर चार  टक्क्यांनी वाढ करण्यात आली.

महागाई भत्त्याची सुरुवात कधी? 

वाढती महागाई लक्षात घेता राहणीमानाचा स्तर कायम राखण्यासाठी केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना तसेच राज्य सरकारच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना महागाई भत्ता देण्यात येतो. देशात सर्वप्रथम, मुंबईमध्ये 1972 साली महागाई भत्ता देण्यात आला. त्यानंतर त्याचे अनुकरण केंद्र सरकारने करत केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांनाही महागाई भत्ता देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.
