Nagpur NCI Inauguration : नागपुरात (Nagpur) आज नॅशनल कॅन्सर इन्स्टिट्यूट (National Cancer Institute) या सर्व प्रकारच्या कर्करोगावर उपचार करणाऱ्या रुग्णालयाचं लोकार्पण झालं. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघाचे सरसंघचालक मोहन भागवत (Mohan Bhagwat) यांच्या हस्ते नॅशनल कॅन्सर इन्स्टिट्यूट अर्थात एनसीआयचं लोकार्पण झालं. या कार्यक्रमाला महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे (CM Eknath Shinde), उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस (Devendra Fadnavis), केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी (Nitin Gadkari) तसंच उद्योजक गौतम अदानी (Gautam Adani) यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती.
कर्करोगाच्या रुग्णांना संजीवनी देणारी संस्था
नागपुरातील जामठा परिसरात उभारण्यात आलेलं 470 बेडचं हे अत्याधुनिक नॅशनल कॅन्सर इन्स्टिट्यूट देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांचा ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट आहे. या रुग्णालयात सर्व प्रकारच्या कर्करोगांवर उपचार करण्यात येणार आहे. धर्मादाय पद्धतीने चालणारं हे देशातील सर्वात मोठे कॅन्सर रुग्णालय असणार आहे. कर्करोगाच्या रुग्णांना संजीवनी देणारी संस्था म्हणून नॅशनल कॅन्सर इन्स्टिट्यूटकडे पाहिलं जात आहे.
– संपूर्ण विदर्भ आणि महाराष्ट्रासह मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगड, तेलंगणा अशा शेजारील राज्यातील लाखो कर्करोग (कॅन्सर) रुग्णांना उपचाराची संजीवनी देणारं अद्ययावत रुग्णालय आजपासून पूर्ण क्षमतेने कार्यरत झालं आहे.
– एनसीआय हे डॉ. आबाजी थत्ते सेवा व अनुसंधान ट्रस्टतर्फे संचालित होणार आहे. डॉ. आबाजी थत्ते हे द्वितीय सरसंघचालक गोळवलकर गुरुजी आणि तृतीय सरसंघचालक बाळासाहेब देवरस यांच्यासोबत काम करणारे ज्येष्ठ स्वयंसेवक होते.
– 2017 मध्ये एनसीआयची सुरुवात 30 बेडच्या छोट्याशा रुग्णालयाच्या स्वरुपात धरमपेठ परिसरात झाली होती. आता या रुग्णालयाला विराट स्वरुप आले असून 470 बेडचे कॅन्सरचे अत्याधुनिक रुग्णालय झालं आहे.
– या रुग्णालयासाठी विविध कंपन्यांच्या सीएसआर फंड आणि समाजातून आलेल्या देणग्यांचा वापार घेण्यात आला.
– कॅन्सरच्या उपचारासाठी जागतिक दर्जाचे अत्याधुनिक तंत्रज्ञान उपलब्ध असणाऱ्या या रुग्णालयात रुग्णांना माफक दरात उपचार मिळणार आहेत.
– तर लहान मुलांवर उपचार मोफत केले जातील अशी माहिती आहे.
