क्योटो विद्यापीठ आणि कॅलिफोर्निया विद्यापीठ यांच्या एका संयुक्त संशोधनानुसार, तुम्ही आठवड्यातून कमीत कमी दोन दिवस पायी चालण्यासाठी वेळ काढायला हवा. यादरम्यान 8,000 पावलं चालण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. यामुळे मृत्यूचा धोका कमी होतो, असा दावा संशोधनात करण्यात आला आहे. या अभ्यासात असा दावा करण्यात आला आहे की, हा व्यायाम आठवड्यातून तीन किंवा सात वेळा 10 हजार पावलं चालण्यासारखं आहे. तसेच, एका आंतरराष्ट्रीय मेडिकल जर्नलमधील अभ्यासात असं म्हटलंय की, आठवड्यात जास्तीत जास्त वेळा किंवा एक वेळा जरी पायी चाललं तरी मानवी आरोग्याला सारखाच फायदा मिळत असतं.

किती लोकांवर सर्व्हे करण्यात आला?

या परदेशी विद्यापीठातील संशोधनानुसार, तुमच्याकडे जर वेळ आणि ऊर्जा असेल तर आठवड्यातून फक्त दोन दिवस पायी चालले तरी आरोग्याला फायदेशीर आहे. या संशोधनासाठी एक सर्व्हे करण्यात आला होता. या संयुक्तपणे अभ्यास करण्यात आलेल्या संशोधसाठी 3 हजार 101  लोकांवर सर्व्हे करण्यात आला होता. हा सर्व्हे अमेरिकेतील वयस्कर नागरिकांवर करण्यात आला होता.

या अभ्यासानुसार, जी लोक आठवड्यातून एक-दोन वेळा पायी चालत नाहीत यांच्यापेक्षा जी लोक आठवड्यातून एक किंवा दोन वेळा कमीत कमी 8 हजार 000 पावलं चालतात, त्यांच्यात 10 वर्षानंतर मृत्यूचा धोका जवळपास 14 टक्यांनी कमी झाल्याचं दिसून आलं आहे. त्यामुळे प्रत्येकाने आठवड्यातून काही पाऊल चालण्यासाठी आवर्जून वेळ काढायला हवा. यामुळे तुमचं आरोग्या चांगलं राहिल आणि आजारी पडण्याची शक्यता कमी असते.
